On March 11, the Freedom Center of Missouri filed a brief on behalf of Kansas City Premier Apartments (KCPA), arguing that the state cannot prevent KCPA from sharing information about rental properties that the government has admitted is truthful and harmless. This case raises incredibly important questions about the constitutional limits that Missourians have placed on their government and calls upon the Missouri Supreme Court to reaffirm citizens’ right “to say, write or publish, or otherwise communicate whatever they will on any subject.” We expect the Court to hear oral arguments in this case in a few months.
