On this, the Freedom Center’s first Independence Day, we would just like to thank all those who have shown interest in our work. It is this organization’s goal to see the great ideals of the Declaration of Independence brought to fruition in a way that our nation has not yet seen – to ensure that the government neither grants special favor to any particular person or set of people and that all people are permitted to live peacefully and freely, seeking their own happiness and enjoying the gains of their own industry insofar as they do not cause injury to others. We thank you for your support and we hope that by next Independence Day we will be able to celebrate the Freedom Center’s first victories in the cause of greater individual liberty.
