Birth of the Constitution Class

This Saturday in Rolla, Missouri, the Freedom Center’s director of litigation, Dave Roland, will be offering a class on the Birth of the U.S. Constitution.  Attendees will learn about the origins of constitutionalism under English law, the Articles of Confederation and the crisis of government following the American Revolution, and the intense national debate over whether the Constitution should be ratified.  They will also get a step-by-step look at what our Constitution actually says about how our governmental system is supposed to operate and will have a chance to ask questions about the way that courts have interpreted our Constitution.

The event will be held at Eugene Northern Community Hall at 400 West 4th Street in Rolla and is open to the first 100 people to register.  While there is no charge for attending the class, the Freedom Center would gratefully accept donations to support our work and to cover the expenses of presenting the class.  For more information and to register, please contact Pamela Grow at (573)465-0061.
